One Town One Product Myanmar will be a local business promotional programme that Myanmar Business Executives Association (MBE) aims to support with the collaboration with Myanmar SME Development and Local Government.
OTOP Myanmar is an inspiration from Japan’s successful One Village One Product (OVOP) programme dated 1920+ encourages village communities to improve local product quality and marketing. It selects one superior product from each village to go to the national level and international stage for the promotion of these products.
In the ASEAN region, Thailand’s OTOP One Tambon One Product has been successfully organized by Thai government in past decade.
OTOP Myanmar’s products cover a large variety of local products, including handicrafts, textiles and garments, household items and local famous foods.
